The Kissena Royale Finale was this past Saturday and it was our best event and turnout to date. The Pro Keirin race had Olympic talent and a $250.00 winner take all prize, and all of the categories had packed fields. Takuya Sakamoto took some great pictures of the day, including these pics of the series winners.
A crew of Cat 1 Pro’s from T-Town came out including Gil Hatton, Andy Lakatosh, Matt Diefenbach, Affinity’s Dan Sullivan, and Phillip Elpaz. Mixing it up with the Pro’s was Kissena Royale Affinity leader Andrew LaCorte, local Affinity racer Jody Pogue, and Kissena Royale womens race leader Kimberly Edwards jumped in on some of the Keirins. Masters and Cat 4′s even got in on rounds of Keirins and the 4′s and 5′s had sprint rounds.
Andy Lakatosh won the overall Pro Keirin and took home the $250.00 cash prize. Thanks to everyone who came out to the Kissena Royale finale. The awards party date and location to be announced any day now.
