Our Story

Spring 2007, Affinity Cycles launches in Brooklyn New York City and introduces the Lo Pro track bike. The Lo Pro would set the stage and become an industry standard single speed/fixie.

Our Affinity is to engineer premium bicycles and components, tailored for enthusiasts, die-hards and elite athletes.

Affinity factory racing features passionate cyclists covering all ages and abilities including, national and world champions, juniors and local talents.

We’ve collaborated with the famed rap group Wu Tang Clan, created custom bicycles for Levi’s and the Affinity Metropolitan became the lead characters trusty bicycle of the 2000’s Hollywood cult bike messenger movie Premium Rush.

In 2019 Affinity partnered with Hennessy to honor American cycling icon Marshall “Major” Taylor, paying tribute to the first African American to become a cycling world champion and the second black athlete to win a world championship in any sport.

2024, Affinity is NYC’s original bicycle manufacturing company producing limited collections of frame sets, original bicycle components and soft goods for the cycling aficionado.
